Third-party websites.
A. Third-party website links.
The Website may contain links to unaffiliated third-party websites, including websites for appointment scheduling, billing, payment processing and online purchases, consumer review sites, informational articles, blogs, and videos, Company’s social media pages, and the websites of Organizational Partners. If you follow these links, you acknowledge that we do not control and are not responsible for the information or privacy practices of those websites. Before you provide information to any third-party website, please review that website’s privacy policy and terms of use, because your visit to the website may bind you to those third-party terms and policies.
How we monitor social media.
Company maintains pages on Facebook and Instagram and may add or discontinue social media channels without notice (collectively, our “social media”). This Privacy Policy applies to our activities on our social media in addition to the Website. Your use of any social media platform is also governed by that platform’s own privacy policy and terms.
By participating in our social media, you agree that Company may monitor and remove any posting or content that we, in our sole discretion, consider inappropriate, and that we may discontinue your access to our social media on any reasonable basis.
A. Our social media activity does not constitute health advice.
Our social media postings and content are general information and education. They do not constitute medical or healthcare advice and are not a substitute for the advice of a licensed healthcare professional who is familiar with your health history. Comments posted by any person who is a licensed healthcare professional, including Company’s owner, are not personal health advice. If you have a health or medical concern, including a concern about travel-related vaccinations, medications, or health risks, please consult a physician or other licensed healthcare provider.
B. We prohibit certain content on our social media.
Your activity on our social media is public, and information shared there often cannot be removed. Your decision to post something may be irreversible. Please do not disclose personal information, such as your location, travel dates, medical history, or financial information, on our social media.
You are solely responsible for your activity on our social media. You agree not to: (1) misrepresent yourself or use another person’s identity; (2) engage in harassment, defamation, personal attacks, spam, or illegal activities; or (3) publish illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, disruptive, profane, harassing, or abusive content.
C. Reviews and testimonials.
We may share reviews and comments that you post about Company on the Website or our social media. When we share a review, we will not edit it in a way that changes its meaning. We do not post reviews or testimonials that misrepresent the reviewer’s experience.
D. We have no duty to monitor our social media.
Company may, but has no duty to, oversee its social media. Company may monitor, restrict, block, suspend, or terminate your access to our social media at any time, and may review, edit, or delete anything you publish on our social media without notice and in its sole discretion.
E. Company may reproduce your postings on our social media.
If you post content on our social media, you grant Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to reproduce, distribute, edit, reformat, publish, and display that content in connection with Company’s business, subject to the permission requirement for reviews described above. Company does not control the conduct of other visitors to its social media, who may reproduce your posts without permission.
Opinions expressed by individuals who are not affiliated with Company do not reflect Company’s opinions.
Visitors outside the United States and the General Data Protection Regulation.
Company is located in the United States, and the Website is hosted in the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation or a comparable law (the “GDPR”) may apply to our processing of your personal data when we offer our information and education services to you. To the extent the GDPR applies, Company is the controller of your personal data, and you may contact us about our processing of your personal data at info@blostmiantravel.com.
We process your personal data on the following legal bases: (1) where processing is necessary to provide information or services you have requested or to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement with you; (2) where you have given your consent, such as to receive marketing communications or to allow non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal; (3) where processing is necessary for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Website and communicating with visitors, and those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests; and (4) where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
We do not ask for, and do not intend to process, special categories of personal data, including data concerning health. If you send us data concerning your health, we will delete it unless you have given us your explicit consent to process it for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, to request correction or deletion of your personal data, to request that we restrict our processing of your personal data, to object to our processing of your personal data, including processing for direct marketing, to receive your personal data in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@blostmiantravel.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live or work.
Your personal data will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. When we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to the United States, we rely on an applicable adequacy decision, the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, or, where applicable, a derogation permitted by the GDPR, such as a transfer that is necessary to perform an agreement with you or to take steps at your request.

“Do Not Track” and opt-out preference signals.
Some web browsers offer a “Do Not Track” feature that signals that you do not want the websites you visit to track your online activity.
